Game Launcher
The Galaxy Game Launcher was optimised for Galaxy Tab S3's screen, offering Power Saver mode, Game Broadcasting, Mute Games and Ongoing Calls mode. Added in was the exciting graphics of the Vulkan API capabilities and the myriad games available in the Galaxy Game Pack for non-stop fun.

Game Launcher is the ultimate control center for games. All of a user's games are aggregated in one convenient place with new downloads added automatically. Before playing, one can mute and hide alerts and adjust game settings to fit the performance you are looking for!
Game Tools
Game Tools gives you access to some pretty cool functions that only make your gaming experience better than ever, Among them, gameplay recording. Because, when youre at the top of your game, you'll want to share it online for the world to see.
My Role
My role in this project included creating UX deliverables for the TAB version of the already existing phone app.
My responsibilities included researching and figuring out a key value proposition for the TAB, creating concepts for the same and brainstorming on the future possibilities.
Since this was a global project, all the work had to be done in close interaction with the headquarters (South Korea).
Another major role was to assist in translation of the app data to make it globally relevant.
Constantly testing prototypes and making iterations at every step was required for the successful completion of the project.
Game Live
Game Live is a global live streaming app by Samsung customized for Gamers. One can stream your game play to popular streaming servers like Twitch, Facebook and YouTube.
Game Live aggregates all the games that are downloaded on a user's phone and presents them in one place for them to choose from. This is one of the first steps when the gamer decides to stream a game. With additional settings available upfront, it provides the gamer with more freedom.
Quick settings that are a tap away enable the gamer to switch between settings as and when they need to.
From chat options to sound and profile - it's all just a tap away. This screen also gives the gamer a quick glance at how the stream is being received by viewers in the form of likes, views and comments.
The gamer gets to see live comments from viewers. The show up on an unobtrusive overlay that can also be minimized with an easy swipe if the user wants it out of the way of the game at crucial moments.
And finally, all the gamer's streams are aggregated and presented on a single page (which is also the homepage)
of the app. This screen also contains the floating action button that helps the user start the flow of streaming their favourite game!
My Role
Conceptualised the product from inception to execution and beyond.
Made detailed proposals at various stages and presented them to stakeholders, including the MD of Samsung India.
Worked closely with the development team and with the headquarters (HQ at South Korea) to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and releases.
Another major role was to help with translation of the app content to make it relevant to different regions in the world.
Provided the team with all timely UX deliverables.
Outcomes
Game Live had over 100,000 downloads on the PlayStore in 6 months.
Certain aspects of the live streaming interactions were taken forward as patents.
The DAU of Game Launcher on TAB was over 65% one month from launch.
